Kathryn Dalton, PhD, VMD, MPH

Dr. Dalton’s research broadly explores One Health microbial dynamics among humans, animals, and their shared environment, and how microbial communities relate to human health outcomes. She employs multidisciplinary techniques from epidemiology, environmental science, microbiology, and ethnography to explore the dynamic balance of detrimental and positive impacts on health from human-animal-environmental interactions, with an emphasis on infectious and respiratory conditions.
